Hi there, my name is Jacob.

There is nothing more beautiful than a person striving to live their best life. Occasionally, these efforts lead to monumental and historical events. However, sincere heroism can also be found in everyday life. That might look like keeping your cool after getting cut off in traffic, finding the courage to ask your boss for a raise, or simply deciding to get out of bed in the morning. My goal is to help you discover and activate your inner hero. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and psychological methodologies tailored to each individual client’s needs, all the while guided by three principles:

1) Building the free will muscle

Your greatest asset is your free will. I aim to help you recognize and exercise true free will decisions, empowering you to cultivate agency, get unstuck, and move beyond simply going through the motions of life.

2) Cultivating authentic self-love

Sustaining the energy needed for well-being requires authentic self-care. I assist clients in navigating the balance between knowing when to push yourself and knowing when to rest and recover.

3) Developing a growth mindset

A growth mindset focuses on celebrating who you can become over time, not a given benchmark of success. It is important to have goals in life, but it’s also important to celebrate who you’re become while you work towards those goals.

Striving to become a better self is immensely difficult yet truly noble. Whether you’re seeking your first therapist or considering a change, be proud of taking meaningful steps toward a better you. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to work with you in realizing your personal greatness.
